A constable in Barren County has been accused of handcuffing a woman during a domestic violence altercation and holding her against her will.
Joseph E. Ramey, 29, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault.
The Glasgow Police Department arrested Ramey after responding to a domestic disturbance where the female victim told officers that Ramey physically assaulted her, handcuffed her and held her against her will.
Ramey was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
