Larry D. Mercer, 59, of Bee Spring passed away at 9:00 PM Sunday Jan. 1, 2023 at his home.
The Grayson County native was a retired construction worker and a member of Lone Wolf Motorcycle Club. He was the son of the late Robert Gene Hill and Hazel Mercer. He was preceded in death by a sister and a great grandson.
All services will be private. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Jane Browning; three sons, Christopher VanMeter and Richard Smith both of Leitchfield and Bill VanMeter of Morgantown; five daughters, Carrie Lynn Wooldridge (Willie) of Leitchfield, Marketta Johnson (Bobby) of Cecilia, Cassie VanMeter (Jeremy) of Caneyville, Stephanie Meredith of Bee Spring and Linda “Jo Jo” Torrence (Anthony) of Smiths Grove; three sisters; 24 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a special niece, Pamela Law.
