An Elizabethtown man has been murdered in Marion County.
Kentucky State Police said that last Friday evening, troopers received a missing person complaint after 56-year-old Kevin T. Elder, of Elizabethtown, disappeared. His family had been searching for him since the previous day.
Elder was last seen in the Raywick community in Marion County, state police said.
The ensuing investigation led state police investigators to obtain and execute a search warrant on a property and residence belonging to Donald K. Elders, 53, of Raywick. Police executed the warrant Thursday morning and obtained information during the search that led to the discovery of Elder’s body in an outbuilding on the property.
Elders was arrested and charged with murder and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.
