A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for Edmonson County Water District (ECWD) customers.

ECWD issued the advisory for all of its customers in Grayson County. The advisory is due to a high number of water leaks as a result of the cold temperatures from over the weekend.

Officials recommend residents boil water at a rolling boil for three minutes before drinking or using in cooking.

Grayson County Judge-Executive Kevin Henderson says that the county will have a location set up at the Anneta Fire House to hand out bottled water to customers in need.

Henderson said if the advisory is prolonged, the county will distribute bottled water at a second location in Wax.

K105 will update when the advisory has been removed.
