UPDATE (1:00 pm) – The missing teen has been located.
The Leitchfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing teenage girl.
Monday morning at approximately 4:35, LPD Sgt. Keith Harrell responded to a Salt River Road home and found that 14-year-old Katie Reed was missing.
Police believe Katie left her residence on foot.
She stands five, feet seven inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Katie has shoulder length brown hair and hazel eyes.
She is thought to be wearing black leggings, a hoodie and white slide sandals.
Anyone with information on Katie’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Leitchfield PD at 270-259-0303 or 270-259-3850.
