Bobby Joe Hatcher, 67, of Cave City passed away Nov. 18, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Barren County native was a carpenter, a grand commander of the Knights Templar and a US Army Vietnam veteran. He was the son of the late Joe Melbourne and Dorothy Alene Rose Shobe and was raised by his late grandparents, W.W. and Lee Hatcher. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Gage Hatcher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery in Cave City. Visitation will take place 2-6 PM Sunday and after 10:00 AM Monday.
Surviving are his wife, Charolette Miller Hatcher; five sons, John Hatcher of Tompkinsville, Josh Hatcher of Munfordville, Shawn Hatcher and Bill Hatcher both of Oklahoma City and David Hatcher of Cave City; four daughters, Cherry Payne (Joe David) of Smiths Grove, Julie Spann (Robert) of Glasgow, Karen Smith (Michael) of Edmonton and Jessie Minor (Garrett) of Cave City; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several aunts; and many cousins.
