| Alice Frances Willis, age 88, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (November 12, 2022) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield. She was born on October 16, 1934 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Ed and Sybol Logsdon Hayes. She was a line worker at Vermont American who enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling, shopping and bowling at Rainbow Lanes. She was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Carroll-Glass (Jason) of Elizabethtown, Linda Venegoni (Mike) of Kansas City, MO, Judy Hobbs (Randy) of Kingston, WA; a son, Tracy Willis (Kim) of Bloomington, IN; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenneth Hayes of Louisville, KY and Dewey Hayes (Kathy) of Hopkinsville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death two sons, Leonard “Wayne” and Michael Willis; four brothers, Johnnie, James, Norbet & G.L. Hayes; a sister, Elizabeth Lasley; and two infant siblings, Edna Mae & Eddie Junior Hayes. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. CST on Saturday, (November 19, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the New Hope General Baptist Church Cemetery at Sadler. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. CST Saturday until time of services. |
