A Hardin County man who sexually abused a young girl while out on bond for molesting the same girl has been sentenced to prison.

Michael K. Lehman, 44, of Radcliff, was sentenced in a Hardin County courtroom on Tuesday to 20 years for first-degree sodomy and five years for first-degree sexual abuse, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. The sentences will be served concurrently. He was found guilty in July.

Lehman was originally arrested in early January 2021 and charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a child younger than 12.

He was released on bond, and just over a week after his initial arrest he was arrested again, the second time on a first-degree sodomy charge involving the same victim.

Lehman “has an indirect family relationship with the” victim, the newspaper previously reported. Police said Lehman engaged in sexual relations at least twice per week with the victim from the time she was seven-years-old. Her current age has not been released.

He must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence.
