A Kentucky State Penitentiary correctional officer has been accused of having sexual contact with an inmate.
Kentucky State Police responded to the Eddyville prison after receiving a report from penitentiary officials of illegal sexual contact involving an officer and inmate. A trooper responded and during the course of the investigation discovered 38-year-old Trista Fox, of Princeton, had sexual contact with an inmate, according to state police.
Fox was arrested and charged with third-degree rape and lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center. She is no longer listed as an inmate.
The investigation is ongoing.
