Western Kentucky University police are warning students after a bomb threat was made towards Parking Structure 2 on the Bowling Green campus.
The threat was reportedly made via social media and officials are asking everyone to stay out of the area.
The structure is located between Diddle Arena and LT Smith Stadium.
The school made this public only minutes after the ATF cleared a scene near Cherry Hall. There, an explosive device was discovered, but an investigation confirmed that it was “construction related and posed no threat to campus.”
That discovery forced the area to be evacuated for about two hours on Wednesday morning.
WKU is set to resume classes beginning at 1:50 pm.
K105 will have more on the story as it becomes available.
