An Ohio County felon has been arrested with a loaded handgun and methamphetamine after “staggering down a street in Beaver Dam,” according to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday afternoon, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force personnel observed 30-year-old Tiffany Rosado, of Cromwell, “staggering down a street in Beaver Dam with disregard to the flow of traffic.”

When detectives approached Rosado, they could see what appeared to be a pistol grip protruding from her pocket.

“Rosado became argumentative with detectives and did not follow commands to show her hands,” police said. She was quickly taken into custody.

During a search of the suspect, police found a loaded handgun, methamphetamine and a needle.

She was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication (controlled substance). The charges are enhanced due to the presence of a firearm.

Rosado was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
