A Caneyville man has been killed in a three-vehicle crash on the Western Kentucky Parkway.
Monday afternoon at approximately 12:15, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Leitchfield Police Department, Caneyville Fire Department, and EMS responded to the wreck near the 95-mile marker of the westbound parkway.
According to first responders, a Nissan truck, being driven by 49-year-old Barry Embry, was traveling behind a dump truck when a Ford 350 truck apparently failed to see the Nissan. The Ford crashed into the Nissan, pushing the Nissan forward and pinning the vehicle between the Ford and dump truck.
Embry was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson County Deputy Coroner Larry Holeman.
No other injuries were reported.
A Kentucky State Police accident reconstructionist arrived on scene and is leading the investigation.
The names of the dump truck driver and the driver of the Ford truck were not available.
