For the second year in a row, the Kentucky State Police submission in the “America’s Best Looking Cruiser” contest has won the competition.

“Kentucky wins the national Cruiser Contest! THANK YOU KENTUCKY for all your votes! Thank you to the American Association of State Troopers for hosting this contest,” Kentucky State Police said in a statement on social media.

KSP, with 65,129 votes, beat the second place entry submitted by the Tennessee Highway Patrol by just under 10,000 votes. A total of 509,153 votes were submitted in the nationwide contest.

This year KSP’s entry (see photo) featured a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, equipped with 20” tires and a 5.3 liter 4WD producing 355 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Last year, Kentucky State Police beat the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Kentucky State Police also won the contest in 2018 and has placed in the top three for four straight years.
