Two men Breckinridge County men have been accused of murdering a Harned woman.
According to Kentucky State Police, troopers arrested 53-year-old Rodney D. Jones, of Hardinsburg, and 33-year-old Boris T. Drane, of Harned, and charged each with murder in the death of 59-year-old Beverly Smallwood, of Harned. Drane was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
Smallwood was found deceased by the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office at a Harned Road residence on Thursday.
No other details surrounding the murder have been released by police.
Smallwood’s body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy.
