Two people, including an Elizabethtown woman, have been arrested in connection to the murder of two women in Bullitt County.
The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office said 32-year-old Bradley J. Ross and 21-year-old Savannah R. McClanahan, of Elizabethtown, were arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with two counts of murder, first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence in the deaths of 25-year-old Katelynn Rayman, of Brooks, and 27-year-old Kristen Longaker, of Lousiville.
Rayman was found deceased on the morning of Monday, May 30 at approximately 8:20 in the roadway in the 1700 block of Pitts Point Road, about five miles west of Shepherdsville. Longaker was found in the road as well. She was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where she was pronounced deceased the following day.
Both women were shot to death. No motive for the murders has been released.
The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a silver 2002 Hyundai Elantra with Kentucky license plate 579-AMN. The occupant[s], police said, should be considered armed and dangerous and are not to be approached.
