For the next two months, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will host Open House Days every Tuesday.
All new and prospective students are invited to attend ECTC Open House Days from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday in June and July at the Elizabethtown campus.
“This is an opportunity to see for yourself why our students love ECTC,” Director of Admissions Judy Akers said. “Whether you have specific questions about getting started this fall or want to tour the program areas that interest you, we’re here to make sure you get all the information and assistance you need.”
During Open House Days, students will have an opportunity to learn about a variety of student support programs.
“Experts will be on hand to help students with planning their educational and career pathways, completing their admissions files and ordering any needed transcripts. They will additionally help students complete their FAFSA and obtain financial aid estimates,” school officials said.
Students also can find out about scholarships including the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship, which allows eligible students to earn, tuition-free, a certificate or degree in a high demand field.
Some ECTC Open House Days will highlight certain academic programs — Healthcare programs will be highlighted June 7 and social and behavioral sciences will be highlighted June 14.
