Grayson County High School will host multiple summer camps involving sports beginning at the close of the school year.
The camps will offer opportunities for both boys and girls of most ages.
Boys Basketball – The Grayson County boys basketball annual summer camp makes its return this year with two sessions for future Cougars! Camp dates run from June 1-3 at the Cougar Den. Grades K-4 will run from 8:00a-10:00a with 5th-8th from 10:30a-12:30p. Registration will be held on-site prior to starting. The cost will be $35 for the first child with each additional family member costing $15.
Football – The Grayson County High School football team will be hosting a summer camp for grades 1-8 from May 24-26 from 8 am-12 pm at the football field. Head coach Bryan Jones is opening this camp to both boys and girls. Registration is $30 and includes a t-shirt along with instruction by Cougar coaches, alumni, and current players. The staff asks for you to register ahead of time so you can guarantee your attendee will receive a t-shirt. For more information, email coach Jones at bryan.jones@grayson.kyschools.us.
Soccer – The Grayson County High School boys soccer team will be hosting a youth soccer camp from June 13-16 from 8 am-11 am at the school soccer field. This camp is open to both girls and boys who have an interest in the game of soccer. The cost is $30. Contact assistant coach Ethan Saltsman at ethan.saltsman@grayson.kyschools.us with any questions.
Tennis – Grayson County HS tennis team will be hosting their annual summer camp on three separate dates this summer. The dates will be June 13-16, June 20-23, and July 11-14. The camp runs from 5-6:30 pm on those dates and on-site registration will be accepted.
Lady Cougar basketball head coach Todd Johnston says that they are currently planning for a girls’ basketball camp and hope to have one later in the summer.
