A central Kentucky high school student is facing charges after being accused of assaulting a student, a teacher and the School Resource Officer.
According to a report by WAVE.com, the incident occurred Wednesday morning at Lincoln County High School in Stanford. It’s unclear what led to the confrontation, but the school’s resource officer was asked to bring a student under control after he assaulted a teacher and student.
As the resource officer was escorting the unruly student out of the area, he headbutted the officer in the face.
The officer required medical attention.
The student is facing several assault charges.
