A Hardin Count resident has been arrested after allegedly strangling and striking a woman.
The Radcliff Police Department arrested 46-year-old Kelly Howard, of Radcliff, and charged her with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault (dating violence).
According to an arrest citation, as reported by The News Enterprise, Howard repeatedly hit the woman in the face, causing bruises around both eyes. She is also accused of strangling the victim, which caused bruising on the victim’s neck.
The woman additionally had bruising on her chest and arms after Howard forcibly held her on the ground.
She was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
