The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has announced its latest list of Most Wanted suspects.
Anyone with knowledge on the location of any of the Most Wanted is asked to contact the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office at 270-259-3024 or your local law enforcement agency.
Joseph Robert Parks, 37 (featured in headline photo): Wanted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), giving an officer false identifying information and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Parks was convicted in September 2021 in Grayson County for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), theft by unlawful taking (more than $500), first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle, on foot), according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections (KDC).
He was additionally convicted in September 2021 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). That conviction arose after Parks was arrested in October 2020 by Grayson County deputies during a traffic stop on Watershed Road.
Parks is currently listed as having absconded from parole by the KDC. He is on parole until October 2026.
Gavin P. Petty, 21: Wanted for fleeing or evading police (on foot), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and giving an officer false identifying information.
Ernest Hurn, 40: Wanted for trafficking in a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in its proper container and possession of marijuana.
Benjamin Lee Higdon, 44: Wanted for leaving the scene of an accident (death or serious physical injury) and first-degree persistent felony offender.
Justin C. Bowlds, 24: Wanted for first-degree assault and DUI (aggravating circumstances).
Alexis L. Farmer, 24: Wanted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and tampering with physical evidence.
Bradley Shawn Hayes, 31: Wanted for theft by unlawful taking ($500 or more).
John Whitehead, 22: Wanted for third-degree burglary.
