Continental Mills has announced a recall of pancake and waffle mix due to possible product contamination.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said the recall is being issued due to a “potential foreign material contamination. Fragments from a cable used to clear the processing line were discovered in a limited amount of product.”
The affected product was distributed to Walmart stores nationwide.
No contaminated product has been reported by consumers to date, and no injuries have been reported, according to the FDA.
Anyone who has recently purchased the product is asked to dispose of the product or return it to your store for a replacement or refund.
