Greater Hardin Co. Narcotics Task Force seizes nearly $100k worth of methamphetamine

The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, recently named the 2021 Task Force of the Year in Kentucky, has seized nearly $100,000 in methamphetamine after a multi-agency investigation.

The task force, assisted by the Kentucky State Police Interdiction Unit seized approximately 20 pounds of methamphetamine during a recent drug trafficking investigation. The street value of the drugs is about $90,000, according to police.

Officers arrested 31-year-old Miguel M. De Leon and 32-year-old Emmanuel D. Sanchez, both of Louisville. The two suspects were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Police added that additional charges and arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
