A Campbellsville man has been charged with murder.
The Campbellsville Police Department said officers responded to a residence on North Jackson Street Sunday afternoon about 12:20 after being informed that a man was at the home in violation of a domestic violence order.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found 34-year-old Justin George deceased from a gunshot wound.
Following an investigation, police arrested 27-year-old Joseph B. Roberts and charged him with George’s murder.
Roberts is being held in the Taylor County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
