Dale Williams, 69, of Ary, and his daughter, 43-year-old Misty Williams, also of Ary, were last seen in the Balls Fork community of Perry County on January 1.
On Thursday, volunteers searching for the pair located Dale William’s body adjacent to a creek bed in the Rowdy community of Perry County, according to Kentucky State Trooper Matt Gayheart.
Gayheart said evidence located at the scene indicated no foul play was involved in the death. The remains were transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
Authorities are still searching for Misty Williams, who has been diagnosed with autism.
She is approximately five foot, four inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.
