The investigation into possibly thousands of dollars worth of goods being stolen from Clarkson storage units resulted in the execution of a search warrant on Windy Ridge Road Monday night.

K105 originally reported on the investigation on Sunday.

Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Clay Boone executed the search warrant Monday night at approximately 5:30. No arrests were made, but Boone could be seen carrying several loads of goods out of the residence and placing the presumably stolen items into his patrol car.

Police were on the scene for just over an hour.

On Friday, the lengthy investigation — involving multiple law enforcement agencies — led police to at least two residences in the Caneyville area where two men were arrested. The names of the suspects have not yet been released.

The Clarkson Police Department, Leitchfield Police Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, and at least one Grayson County constable have participated in the investigation.

K105 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.
