Clarkson woman with history of drug, alcohol arrests jailed on drug, theft charges in Hardin Co.

A Clarkson woman with a history of drug and alcohol arrests has been jailed in Hardin County on drug and theft charges.

Jamie R. Puckett, 32, was arrested Monday night by the Elizabethtown Police Department and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She’s being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond.

In May 2019, Puckett and anther female were arrested by Clarkson Police Chief Buck Meredith during a traffic stop on North Patterson Street. During a search of the vehicle, Meredith located methamphetamine.

Puckett was charged with trafficking in and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)

In October 2017, Puckett was jailed after drunkenly driving onto the lawn of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in the middle of the night.

Puckett was arrested after being administered a field sobriety test by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. During a search of her vehicle, a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, and Puckett, police located six used syringes and an open container of alcohol.

She was charged with her third DUI (with aggravating circumstances), possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
