The two children abducted by a Beaver Dam man have been found.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced that three-year-old Noah Clare and his cousin, 16-year-old Amber Clare, of Beaver Dam, have been located “just outside of San Clemente, California,” and are safe.

Jacob F. Clare, 35, is in custody, police said.

Jacob Clare has an arrest warrant out of Gallatin, Tennessee, for custodial interference and is also wanted for aggravated kidnapping after he failed to return Noah to his mother in Gallatin, Tennessee, on Sunday, November 7. Amber Clare was also taken and had last been seen Friday night November 5 at approximately 9:30 at her Beaver Dam residence.

The vehicle associated with the Clares, a 2005 Subaru Legacy, was found in San Clemente on Tuesday afternoon. San Clemente is about 75 miles north of the Mexico border.

The Subaru was filled with multiple items, including instant milk, MREs (meals ready to eat) and clothes and it appeared the trio had been living out of the car.

K105 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.
