Grayson County’s Chase Richardson has been named a school winner for the Heisman High School scholarship.
Richardson, a senior at GCHS, competes on the school’s tennis and bass fishing teams.
The scholarship honors senior student-athletes who “accomplish tremendous feats in the classroom, on the field, and most importantly, within their communities.”
To be eligible, students must “have at least a weighted “B” grade average (3.0 GPA) during grades 9, 10, and 11,” and participate in volunteer service.
Richardson’s older sister, Bailey, was also a winner of the award in 2020.
He is the son of Robbie and Robin Richardson.
