Grayson County Middle School has named Sarah Kelley as the next head coach of their volleyball program.

Kelley has been involved in volleyball since she was in 3rd Grade. After her school career in the sport, she has continued to play in co-ed leagues.

Her coaching career has been spent at BRAVO coaching and UNION volleyball club. She has also been involved in programs at CSAA in Louisville.

“I am confident in my knowledge and skills of the game and will bring fun and energy to the games and tournaments,” Kelley said in a release.

Kelley is married to Dwayne and has four children. She said that her mom and little sister have both played large roles in her volleyball experience. Her sister was a libero for UNC Greensboro before graduating in 2018.

Grayson County Middle School will host volleyball tryouts later this month. For sixth-graders, it will be October 16th from 1-3 pm. Seventh grade will be October 13 from 6-7:30 pm and the 16th from 3-4 pm. The eighth-grade team will be on the 15th from 6-7:30 pm and the 16th from 4-5 pm.
