A man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Meade County.
Kentucky State Police responded to the crash Monday afternoon at approximately 3:00 in the 21000 block of Joe Prather Highway, about four miles northeast of Flaherty.
KSP said the preliminary investigation showed that 45-year-old Jason Anderson, of Golden, Colorado, was traveling north on Joe Prather Highway in a 2018 Buick Encore. For unknown reasons, Anderson’s vehicle crossed the center line and into the path of a semi-truck, being driven by Rodney Bearinger, of Alberta, Canada.
Anderson was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner’s Office. Bearinger was transported to Baptist Health Hardin with minor injuries.
