Michael Dewayne Thompson, 52, of Brownsville passed away July 24, 2021 in Oldham County.
The Jefferson County native enjoyed singing and playing tennis and was a Southern Glazers sales consultant, a supporter of Goodwill Industries and a 1987 graduate of ECHS. He was a son of Sharon Wilkinson Woodcock of Brownsville and Paul Joseph Thompson of Louisville, who survive.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church. No other services are scheduled. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Also surviving are a brother, Bryan Thompson (Kim) of Brownsville; three sisters, Tiffany Pickle (Robert) of Texas, Sheila Painter (Jimmy) of Louisville and Meredith York West (Bo) of Morgantown; step father, Danny York of Brownsville; nieces, Keaton Thompson, Courtney Beckley, Jessica Painter, Jenna Pickle and Averi Pickle; nephews, Tyler Thompson, Tristan Thompson, James Painter and Joshua Painter; family members, Leah Harvey Conklin and Keirsten Harvey Jaggers; godmother, Nancy Harvey; goddaughter, Vivian Conklin; and special friends, Rachelle Wafer and David White.
