In a somewhat surprising development, only two of Grayson County’s Most Wanted suspects announced in early June have been captured.

Dwane Holschuh, 24, was wanted on several charges including first-degree wanton endangerment, burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was arrested on June 19 and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Erik T. Simcoe, 26, was arrested on June 6, only days after the release of June’s Most Wanted. He was wanted for first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, second-degree assault, fleeing or evading police, and receiving stolen property among other charges. He is also lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

With a new list of Most Wanted suspects slated to be announced by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office in the coming days, there remain eight of June’s Most Wanted on the loose. Previously, between four and six suspects on the county’s Most Wanted list have been captured during the month of the lists’ publication.

Of course, law enforcement’s job of protecting and serving the public is made easier and more effective with the help of the people served. Anyone with information on the location of any of the wanted individuals is asked to contact the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office at 270-259-3024, or simply dial 911.
