People who get a COVID vaccine at Walgreens will receive a $25 monetary reward.
Walgreens announced that people who get vaccinated at one of over 4,000 stores will receive $25 in Walgreens Cash for those who have a myWalgreens account. Residents who are not members will receive a $25 Walgreens gift card.
“Walgreens is providing the added incentive to encourage more individuals to get a COVID-19 vaccine in support of President Biden’s National Month of Action,” a statement from the company said.
Parents or guardians of children ages 12 to 15 who get the vaccine will also be eligible to redeem Walgreens Cash rewards on behalf of their minor children if they are myWalgreens members, or a $25 Walgreens gift card if not members, the company said.
Walk-in appointments are available. Appointments can also be scheduled online or by calling 1-800-Walgreens. Same-day appointments are possible based on availability.
