Grayson County High School’s Ted Hill has resigned as the school’s girls basketball and fastpitch softball coach.
Hill was hired as the head coach of the Lady Cougar basketball program prior to the 2019 season. In his two years as coach, he went 33-23 and won the 2021 12th District championship.
Late last year, he was also named the head coach for the softball team where he coached this year’s young squad to a 7-26 record.
The Lady Cougar basketball team was scheduled to begin summer workouts this week with games scheduled throughout the month of June.
Grayson County will begin a search for Hill’s replacement(s) immediately.
Attempts to reach Hill at the time of publication were unsuccessful.
