John Dale Alvey, age 73, of, Leitchfield KY, passed away Sunday, (May 30, 2021) at his residence.
He was born on December 30, 1947 in Clarkson, KY, the son of the late Arnold Vincent Alvey and Mary Eunice Higdon Alvey.
He was a car salesman most of his life and had enjoyed farming, horses and playing music in a band. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree, attending college in Illinois. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Kami Drew Alvey of Riverside, California; brothers, Jimmy Alvey (Karen) and Larry Alvey (Pat); his sister, Bonnie Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Drew, Timmy, Donnie, Wayne and Louie; and one sister, Jenny Ann Edmonds.
He had chosen cremation and the family is following his request.
