Kentucky State Police has released the identity of the fourth body found in Ohio County on Wednesday afternoon.
On Monday, state police said the fourth of four bodies located deceased at a property in the 5700 block of Hwy 62 west near McHenry was 38-year-old Calvin Leisure III, of Beaver Dam. He was found in an apartment in a burned building.
Three others previously identified by state police were 20-year-old Hunter L. Owings, of Centertown, and 44-year-old Nora J. Owings and 66-year-old Calvin Leisure Jr., both of Beaver Dam. They were found outside a residence on the property, adjacent to the building where Leisure III was located. All three had been shot to death.
Kentucky State Police Post 16 spokesman Corey King said it appears that Leisure III had been shot.
Police previously said it was probable the victims were related, and according to Nora J. Owings’ obituary, Leisure Jr. was her father, Hunter L. Owings was her son and Leisure III was her brother.
Law enforcement is not looking for a perpetrator, King said, and there is no danger to the community.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.
