The team announced that the six groups that will be competing are Allan Sauer/Kagen Floyd, River Blanton/Cody Saltsman, Isaiah Cooley/Jackson Weedman, Maggie Jennings/Caden Jennings, Chase Richardson/Tyler Dockery, and Brady Stone/Addie Hodges.
In addition, the Cougars gave out team awards. Winning “Rookie of the Year” was Owen Meredith and Cannon O’Neal. Allan Sauer and Kagen Floyd were recognized as the “regular-season points champion.”
The team’s “Anglers of the Year” were River Blanton and Cody Saltsman. The biggest fish of the year, totaling 5.58 pounds, was caught by Brady Stone.
While announcing their team awards, the Cougars also recognized their five seniors Lane Pohlman, Dalton Constant, Jacob Dennis, Caden Jennings, and Lane Williams. Last month, Pohlman signed to continue his bass fishing career at Campbellsville University.
