Last week, Grayson County High School senior Lane Pohlman officially signed to join Campbellsville University’s bass fishing team.

Pohlman will join former Cougar Luke Henderson on the Tigers. The two will have the opportunity to compete all around the country with the fishing program, which has only been in existence for the past six years.

On Campbellsville, Pohlman said, “It feels like home and it is Christian based and it feels like God led me there.”

The senior becomes the fourth athlete at GCHS to sign to play a sport at the NAIA school joining Zack Bratcher, Mason Miller, and Caden Woodcock who will play football. Pohlman also played football for the Cougar football team. As one of the main kegs on both the offensive and defensive line, he accounted for 10 tackles this past year.

The Tigers are coached by Pete Hedgepath who was named the program’s first full-time head coach in 2018.
