A Hardin County man is facing a felony charge after being accused of strangling his girlfriend.
Christopher DeGraff, 46, of Elizabethtown, was arrested Monday morning after he allegedly wrapped his arms around his girlfriend’s neck and choked her, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. During the altercation, the victim said she struck DeGraff in the head as she attempted to protect herself.
The victim displayed bruising on her upper arms.
DeGraff was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation (a class C felony) and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
