A Grayson County Girl Scout Troop is asking for help donating a large amount of girl scout cookies.

Like many businesses and other nonprofit organizations, the coronavirus pandemic has adversely affected sales and fundraising, and in the case of the Girl Scouts, cookie sales.

Deranne Lasley, a member of Troop 31, recently posted a video (seen below) asking for the public’s help by purchasing girl scout cookies and allowing the troop to donate the cookies to local first responders.

The portion of the cookie sales proceeds that the troop retains finances many activities and trips the girls take throughout the year.

To help Grayson County’s Girl Scouts (and first responders), please contact Mona Fulkerson at 270-230-2535.
