
A Hartford man has been charged with possessing methamphetamine in the Ohio County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police said troopers were notified by Ohio County Detention Center staff about drug activity inside the facility. State police said detectives launched an investigation, which led authorities to 38-year-old Robert B. Schroader, of Hartford, as investigators learned the inmate possessed methamphetamine while in the jail.
He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), promoting contraband, and being a persistent felony offender.
He’s being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
