The Grayson County elementary school Spelling Bee winners have been announced.
According to the school district, winning at the elementary school (up to the fourth grade) competition on Saturday was Caneyville fourth grader Kaylie Linton. Coming in second was Lawler second grader Anthony Linton, and placing third was Clarkson third grader Ethan Whobrey.
In the fifth grade spelling competition, the winner was Lawler student Eli Parker. Coming in second, also from Lawler, was Noah Finn and placing third was Wilkey student Madalyn Finley.
