A Hartford couple has been arrested for supplying drugs to inmates at the Ohio County Detention Center.

Earlier this week, Kentucky State Police was notified by the staff at the detention center regarding drug activity inside the facility. State police investigators launched an investigation which led detectives to a residence in Hartford.

KSP executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Hunter Drive just after 10:00 Wednesday night, and during a search of the residence authorities located items used to traffic and distribute methamphetamine as well as marijuana, firearms, and cash.

Police arrested 22-year-old Dillon L. Midkiff and 22-year-old Sierra N. Osborne, both of Hartford. Midkiff was charged with promoting contraband and was served with a warrant for a felony probation violation. Osborne was charged with promoting contraband and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia (enhanced by the presence of a firearm).

Both suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. Osborne is no longer listed as an inmate.

Police said the investigation is on-going and additional arrests are likely.
