Bids opened for Leitchfield City Hall/Police Department Renovation Project

The City of Leitchfield has opened the bids for the renovation of the old Rite Aid building into their new City Hall/Police Department.

The unofficial results for the bids are:

UD Contracting: $3,084,798.94

T&T Construction: $2,991,000

Alliance Corporation: $2,611,000

Hartz Contracting: $2,524,710

FW Owens Company: $2,783,100

Parco Construction Group: $2,831,700

S&S Contractors: $3,144,690

Omni Commercial: $2,703,000

Redlee Construction: $2,795,300

At May 6th’s City Council meeting, Mayor Rick Embry said the project’s architecture firm, Brandstetter Carroll, told him the project would not take up to 15 months as originally stated, but instead is expected to take only six months.

K105 will have more information on which bid the city will accept when it becomes available.
