A Hart County man wanted in Grayson County has been arrested after being found in a vehicle facing the wrong way on Cub Run Road.
Saturday night at approximately 9:00, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office encountered a GMC pickup truck stopped in the middle of Cub Run Road and facing the wrong direction, according to media reports.
Police made contact with the driver, 38-year-old Timothy W. Taylor, of Munfordville, and discovered he had an arrest warrant out of Grayson County for trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
A search of Taylor revealed the suspect was in possession of methamphetamine, with police also finding 18 codeine pills in the vehicle.
Police additionally located methamphetamine on Taylor’s passenger, 51-year-old David R. Kerr Jr., of Horse Cave.
Taylor was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, codeine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), obstructing a highway, being a persistent felony offender, improper parking, and failure to maintain insurance.
Kerr was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, codeine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), being a persistent felony offender, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects are lodged in the Simpson County Detention Center. Taylor is being held on a $10,000 cash bond while Kerr is being detained on a $5,000 cash bond.
