A Bowling Green teenager has been arrested on multiple felony drug charges after the execution of a search warrant by the Bowling Green/Warren County Drug Task Force.
On Wednesday afternoon, police arrested 19-year-old Jacob R. Embry and charged him with trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school (psilocybin mushrooms), trafficking in a controlled substance (LSD), trafficking in marijuana (up to five pounds), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the execution of the warrant at Embry’s home on Creason Street, police located 20 hits of LSD, four pounds of high-grade marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and $1,973 in cash. Police said that “in addition to the aforementioned four pounds of marijuana seized at (Embry’s) residence an additional four pounds of marijuana was also seized, which is related to this investigation.”
Embry was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $5,000 cash bond.
U.S. Postal Service postal inspectors aided in the investigation.
(Police list Embry as being 19-years-old, while the jail website says the suspect is 18.)
