On Friday afternoon, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office received information on the whereabouts of one of Ohio County’s 10 Most Wanted.
Deputies located 44-year-old Jeramy Fisher, of Owensboro, riding a motorcycle on Hwy 1543 near Hartford. Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said Fisher was wanted on two probation violation warrants (for felony offenses), and had been, according to Beatty, “eluding police for an extended period of time.”
After spotting the suspect, deputies executed a traffic stop and took Fisher into custody without incident. During a search of Fisher, police located 18 grams of methamphetamine, a knife and a set of brass knuckles.
In addition to the two warrants, Fisher was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), carrying a concealed weapon, and his second DUI.
He is lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
