The Grayson County Middle School Beta Club recently competed at the State Convention in Louisville, with two students qualifying for national competition in June in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
A total of 39 members of the GCMS Beta Club competed at the statewide competition, with sixth grader Jake Pohlman finishing third in the Handmade Jewelry Competition and seventh grade student Hollie Hagan coming in fourth place in the Language Arts Competition.
The GCMS Beta Club finished in the top 10 in the Engineering, Service Project Showcase, and Marketing and Communications competitions.
