A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Grayson County, and the entire region, until Thursday morning at 5:00.
Forecasters predict a mixed wintry precipitation – freezing rain, sleet and snow — Wednesday night and into the overnight hours. The National Weather Service says ice will accumulate on exposed and elevated objects such as trees, power lines, and elevated decks and sidewalks. Up to a quarter inch of ice glaze is predicted to strike the area.
Be overly cautious if traveling over bridges and overpasses, as those structures are more likely to have a coating of ice.
