The Bowling Green Police Department and FBI, along with other law enforcement personnel, are currently searching for a man after he attempted to abduct someone in Bowling Green on Friday.
Police are not releasing much information at this time, but Bowling Green PD Public Affairs Officer Ronnie Ward tweeted two surveillance photos of 59-year-old John McDaniel, saying he is wanted for an attempted abduction. According to an unconfirmed report, McDaniel is believed to live in the Caneyville area.
According to a member of law enforcement, the FBI and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, and possibly the BGPD, searched for McDaniel on Friday in Grayson County before the search moved to Ohio County.
McDaniel was last known to be in or near Beaver Dam.
Anyone with information on the location of McDaniel is asked to call 9-1-1 or the BGPD at 270-393-4000.
